Our School

Wolcott Elementary School exists so that all students are empowered with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve their full potential and become successful, and contributing members of society - both locally and globally.

Wolcott Elementary School is supported by a community of 1,676 on the eastern edge of Lamoille County. Currently, approximately 125 students in kindergarten through sixth grade attend Wolcott Elementary School. The school community values and respects the diverse nature of each individual student and works to help meet all students' social, emotional, and academic needs.  Learn more about the school, staff, and students by visiting Wolcott Elementary School's website.

Another way to learn about the school is to read through the annual school reports:
  • 2015-2016 (Prepared for the 2017 Annual School District Meeting)
  • 2014-2015 (Prepared for the 2016 Annual School District Meeting)
  • 2013-2014 (Prepared for the 2015 Annual School District Meeting)

After graduating from Wolcott Elementary, our town’s children attend the secondary school of their choice.  Currently, approximately 115 students in grades 7-12 attend Craftsbury, Hazen, Lamoille, Peoples, U-32, St. Johnsbury and Orchard Valley.  Some students attend the tech centers of Barre, Green Mountain, and River Bend.
